My love for photography started back in high school when an art teacher saw I had an unusual passion for the human spirit. That one teacher put a camera in my hands and sent me out to photograph sports for the yearbook.
It wasn’t photography I fell in love with, but the camera’s ability to stop time, to isolate memorable moments forever. I found myself searching for the unique emotion in every image, that little smile from a grandmother, the look in a father’s eye – all those details became the center of attention each time I picked up a camera.
